Ten seconds of light painting

Ten seconds of light painting

These are such a departure from my straight work.  Here I can let go of colour accuracy, focus and even exposure accuracy.   Free to explore the interplay between form and colour, moods and emotions, line and gesture.

Finally I feel like my abstract work has gotten somewhere for me.  There is now a solid body of work to draw on.  The techniques have settled.  I have a clear goal.

Painterly.

To create with light and cameras the paintings that illuded me my whole creative life.

This is the work I would have been proud to paint.  Julie, this is the Raposody in Blue Series we planned to exhibit with your paintings.
