EX49 Three Up

Three is the smallest number that you can create a pattern with. You can create a rhythm with three.

With three it is easy to create a triangle.

Three is simple, appealing and effective.

Three is a prime number.

In speech making and presenting there is the Rule of Three.

Three is considered a magical number.

Web designers use the three click rule.

Three silver birch trees are planted together historically in Europe.

In Roman mythology, the three Graces were goddesses said to represent beauty, charm and joy, and fertility.

The Magic Triangle is a triangular relationship between the eyes, nose and mouth, developed by Don Sahlin chief designer of the Muppets.

Simply put, threes just work beautifully.

So let’s play with three. Three of anything and everything.

Try three in a line, three in a triangle, three colours, three areas, three lines or anything else in a permutation of three…

Rather than posting different variations of the same subject, this week just post the best one. Then move onto a different subject of three, experiment, then only post the photograph that you have resolved. You can post as many resolved photographs as you like as long as they are off different subjects of three.

So do you think three is magical? Let’s discuss what we find.

Three king ferns

Three sailors at the National Schools Championships

Three Orchids

Three tree trunks

Three feet or perhaps three shoes or three legs

Three flowers

Three orchids

Three dogwoods
