How to prepare and upload images

The forum software resizes images to 1920x1080 pixels. If you upload as attachments and in multiples to make galleries it resizes images to 1024x768 pixels

Raws and other documents are not recognised as images and are left as they are. We only upload raws when requested.

Best practice is to resize your images before you upload them. This will save you time with the upload and will stop them being changed by the system.

We would recommend a compression setting of about 7 or 70%.

I set up a Lightroom export preset that puts all of these photographs in a folder. Inside that folder I name the ones I am creating so I can find them again later. I put a short cut to this folder in my finder so it is easy to find later.
