The exercise for the coming week is to prepare, and plan for a longer project. This project is called EX180 The Artist’s Project

With Len being away on his Tarkine Tour and the change to the new website (it is so exciting, it is to be announced 1st August. 11 am), we have an ideal opportunity to work on a longer project.

The calendar will look like this.

• 11th July - Meet with Len, in Zoom, to discuss project plans, sample images, ideas, possibilities and directions.

• 18th July - Meet as a group in zoom to discuss progress and help each other (without Len)

• 25th July - Meet as a group in zoom to discuss progress and help each other (without Len)

• 1st August - New website and community launch - Len will take you through the new site and show you how it works.  11 am announcement.

• 8th August - Meet as a group with Len to discuss the project finals posted in the new community. 

This is an oportunity for you to post ideas, words, plans, and images to discuss next week. The session will be recorded as usual so those that can’t attend can still have their work discussed.

The brief for the artist’s project is:

To create a cohesive series of artworks, with a title and statement about the body of work.   Either nine individual images or five diptychs.   The works can be about anything you like, in any genre, or technique you like. Preferably something you love. The key word here is ‘cohesive’.
