Many people I talk too are excited to hear about future trips I have planned as tours and workshops, and with 2027 less than half a year away, it is time to start getting organised for the future.
The majority of my offerings in the future will be bespoke and run on demand. This gives you, the person booking and me, the provider, more certainty and flexibility in calendar dates and locations. It basically opens up so many more options. It probably takes away marketing opportunities for me.
The process is very simple, and that is you reach out and ask about when and where you would like to go. We confirm that those dates are suitable, and you book in on your tour or workshop. You can ask me to promote it if you’d like others to come, or bring a friend. Either way, if we can create a small group, we can reduce the price.
This simply means if you wish to go alone you can. The trip will go ahead for you.
If you wish to bring a friend, then both of you can save 20% on the cost of the trip.

So now the question is where do I want to go and when?
I am also recommending to people to book me as a mentor, coach, facilitator, educator, teacher. This is something I have been doing for many many years now. So this is really just a reminder that you can book me for regular, irregular or even just one off sessions to learn and develop your skills. Whether it is camera handling, image processing, composition, book making, exhibiting, locations, creative process.
For those that use this service, they find they get the best out of me and my skills. I have had clients do this weekly for years.
Again, this is on demand, on a mutual timeline, at your leisure and time. I recommend 90 minute blocks, though am obviously able to do other lengths of time. I will be leaving at the end of August for two months, whilst I travel to Western Australia and South Australia. Though you could book me when I am in your city if you like.

Substack
I have started writing and posting over on substack. I am trying to wean myself off instagram, with little success atm to be honest, but the intention is there. I managed to get off facebook, so I know I can do this.
I have found substack to be less social media, and way more interesting reading, great photographs and articles. Most importantly I have found a really healthy community of people who like to talk about things. Perhaps you might like to join me there.

This was on that one fine day… that magical day… the one I was speaking about a few weeks ago… we had still thick mist all day. Did I ever mention April and May are my favourite months to photograph the mts.
I was so inspired and happy that day…. such beautiful company to be with… such magical weather… gorgeous.
