Tasmania,Lutruwita
a photographers dream
Lutruwita, Tasmania is Len’s absolute favourite location to photograph,
particularly the west coast where rainfall is measured in meters per year
Len has been visiting and photographing this incredible island for twenty five years, and it has become Len’s second home
Len started taking photographers to the island in 2013
The weather is often flat, wet, overcast and absolutely stunning
The greens and colours glow with so much beauty
Len became obsessed with the island when he fell in love with Peter Dombrovskis’s work in the early eighties
Len has produced many incredible series whilst exploring the island
The food is absolutely incredible, it is worth a trip just to savour the flavours
Len thinks the best time to visit is in May, June and July when there are less tourists and more mist and rain
It never seems to get too hot on the island and it can be visited at any time of the year
