We would like to extend our appreciation to Neville Thorogood, who is another incredible photographer who was invited to participate in Lens Journal Vol 5 Iss 2.
One of the first memories Neville remembers most is growing up in the outskirts of Sydney
with native bushland to explore, his time was taken up building cubby houses
where he would gather all sorts of things to be studied later. From these humble
beginnings his eyes were opened to how he could see the world in many ways.
Lands of mystery and intrigue.
His work in Lens Journal explores how
global warming is evident in the Northern Lands and its immediate
impact is to be witnessed everywhere. His many visits to these
lands (Iceland and Greenland), have allowed him to capture the
changing landscape and document the Emerging Land before the
ice disappears.
