Snowy Mountains dreaming

I am back in the Snowy Mountains again, this time taking a client out for a backcountry skiing touring trip. Four days of camping in the snow. Today was the preliminary day to get our ski legs back. We lunched under this tree and this is a snap from my seat. We had hot soup for lunch and sipped ginger and lemongrass tea. Tomorrow I don a huge pack and we take four days worth of gear. More photos will hopefully follow, as we are both bringing cameras. I still haven’t decided which one to take. Probably the GR IIIx as it’s lighter. Ever ounce counts tomorrow.
