EX90 Symmetry

In the Gestalt Design Principles of Symmetry two or more unrelated objects can be joined together so that they look like one by their size, shape, colour, lines, textures.

The Law of Symmetry is the gestalt grouping law that states that elements that are symmetrical to each other tend to be perceived as a unified group. Similar to the law of similarity, this rule suggests that objects that are symmetrical with each other will be more likely to be grouped together than objects not symmetrical with each other.

Symmetry is great fun to play with in reflections too. So if you can’t find two things that are unrelated and can’t make them into one. Why not have a play with some reflections.
