EX41 Shoot from the hip

This weeks learning exercise is deceptively simple. Yet, I believe, there will be plenty of good learning and challenges for many of you.

So go and create a series, five or more photographs create a series, without using the viewfinder or the screen on the back of the camera. You are to point the camera, or move the camera intuitively.

This means you will be helpless when it comes to accurate framing.

So perhaps ‘Shooting from the hip’ is a little miss leading… reframe it as shooting without using the viewfinder or using the rear screen.

Just as a reminder, a series means that they talk to each other.

Post your photographs in the comments bellow. And discuss what it was like to photograph without being able to accurately frame your work.
