Len continues his Lightroom tutorial series with a practical demonstration on how to process colour images.

In this session Kel donates a few photographs for Len to process in Lightroom. The three photographs that are processed all have different processing requirements.

None of us expected to be where we are now in the middle of a pandemic and having to stay at home. That hasn’t stopped us though! So this week, keep an eye out for the unexpected and post whatever it is that jumps out at you.

This week the one word challenge is Joy.

We all need a little bit of joy at the moment. The real challenge here is to task yourself to create something new this week. Consciously seek out something around you that gives you joy. If joyful things are in short supply then get creative and find something mundane to photograph instead and then mess with it so much it becomes a joyful mess. Or, take delight in the act of photography itself, feel the joy whilst photographing something and then post the result (even if others won’t immediately see ‘joy’).

Six years later and I believe this more than ever. It is so powerful. This positive feedback is the backbone of the Len’s Club Community Forum. Please dive in and critique the photographs of the other members.

Len is hosting a webinar on Friday 10th April at midday Sydney time on developing and designing photographic projects. He will show you some of the inspiring projects that students have done over the years. He will discuss how to manage them and how to use Len’s Club as an effective tool for facilitating your grown and enthusiasm in the project.
