EX159 Reflections
This weeks exercise is inspired from Trevor and Barbara’s work in the last weekly exercise. Both are beautiful examples of intentionally playing with reflections. The classic reflection photograph has two equal sides that reflect each other, often with a bit of a puzzle of differences between the two.
You could also explore only the reflections as I have done in some of the included examples.
Often the tiniest thing can be a great source of a reflection. Such as off piece of glass, or piece of chrome on a vehicle. Trevor used a window to reflect the opera house.
You can also create reflections with multiple exposures, or by doing them in software.
The question for us as a group is how do reflections work as a source of inspiration. Do the two sides need to be identical, or different? Do the two sides have to be the same size? Does the reflection have to happen around the middle of the image.
We will discuss our reflections next week in Len’s Class. Please post your images in the thread on the forum.
