EX160 a reflection mini project

Do your research to challenge your assumptions

  1. Find a subject that you are incredibly curious about - one that makes you ask interesting questions.

  2. Find out everything you can by research, interviews, observation and experience.

  3. Take time to challenge any preconceptions you have on the subject or biases that appeared in the research. Do the hold up to scrutiny?

  4. Choose a photographic approach that heightens your abilities to observe and honestly transmit those observations through your photographs.

We have just spent a couple of hours and a week looking at reflections. If you haven’t seen the video of Len’s Class I recommend you watch it to find out some more about how reflections work.

Do your own research too. How do other photographers handle reflections? How do you usually handle reflections? How can you push yourself?

In the next two weeks push yourself to create a new series of reflection images, that follow a theme, and talk to each other as a series. You may just like to post three as a triptych, or go much further and ad a larger series.

We will meet to discuss your images, on reflections, that push yourself further, in the forum for discussion on Tuesday 11th October 11 am. Post your images in the forum post here https://lensclub.discussion.community/post/ex160-a-reflection-mini-project-12455926?pid=1333518432#post1333518432
