fine art nudes on the coast – five days with Len Metcalf

Fine art nudes are about exploring the beauty of the human form, and in this workshop we explore humanities connection with mother nature.

Join Len Metcalf for a five-day workshop dedicated to photographing the nude in the Australian landscape. Working in thesouth coasts’ dramatic coastline we will explore the interplay of human form and natural environment.

We are nature and nature is us. As humans we are deeply connected to the landscape.

There will be time for critique and discussion, ensuring you refine your vision and strengthen your practice. Model releases are included, giving you the freedom to use your images professionally.

The aim is simple: to leave with a cohesive portfolio of fine art nudes in nature – images that are both personal and powerful.

Places are limited to ensure individual attention and a supportive, creative group.

Andrea - An Different Name

Andrea and I have been photographing together for more than ten years now. We have built up a beautiful rapport and an extensive collection of fine art nudes. Andrea has also worked with me on previous nude photography workshops.

Andrea has recently started touring internationally as a fine art nude model, and has been getting some incredible collaborations in the most amazing places, and with some very talented photographers around the world.

She brings to our workshop an incredible depth with her intellectual understanding of the creative process.

Andrea is a recognised fine art nude photographer, and her work has won numerous competitions and is recognised in its own right. This adds lots of extra depth to our learning.

About Me

I just want to sneak into the art history books and as many photo frames and albums as I can.

I love working with photographers of all experience levels - whether you shoot every day or you're looking to do your first, I would love to hear from you. I'm happy to discuss your wild ideas or provide some of my own if you're all out.

I know that the "an" in An Different Name is grammatically incorrect. It was an ill conceived attempt at wordplay on my name. I promise I'm better at modelling than I am at wordplay.

All of the photographs included on this page are of Andrea, taken by Len, most of them taken on location on the South Coast of NSW.
