PR78 Georgia O'Keeffe
Georgia O’Keeffe is the Mother of American Modernism and one of the grandmothers of American Abstraction. She was married to Alfred Stieglitz and the subject of many of his photographs. Her watercolours and drawings are incredible. Her paintings mesmerise a huge audience today. Her energy undoubtedly has influenced many photographers.
PR76 Hopperesque - Edward Hopper
Hopper has been influential not only on many photographers but has influenced modern culture as well. His paintings speak of detailed observation on light, yet are incredible social commentary of American society.
