London Bridge
Lone bridge is falling down, according to the nursery rhyme.
Yet we don’t really know what that means, as there are so many hypotheses as to why.
The gap here on the london bridge down on the great ocean road has also collapsed. A couple were standing on what is now an island at the time. It’s just so hard to imagine it collapsing just after you had walked across it. The mind boggles. They were obviously rescued, I think with a helicopter.
I took this a few months ago whilst we were there with Peter Eastway and our workshop. We were driving past and noticed some incredible light on it. So not being ones to let an opportunity go past, we did a u turn and raced back to capture it. I was more interested in the story as I was photographing it. It’s about the bridge that’s gone for me.
I had a great time with the ‘live time’ function of my OM Sydtems OM 1, where I can watch the long exposure develop in real time. It’s a two minute exposure.
As you can read I am back into writing more regularly again. And trying to get out a few each week. So if you subscribe to the weekly summary, please make sure you scroll down to see more articles and information. Am currently excited about the flower days coming up.
